Welcome to Straighten Up Canada, a simple three-minute program designed to help you reach for better posture. Practicing the Straighten Up Canada program daily is an important part of an active, healthy lifestyle for adults and children alike.

This program is designed to promote a healthy spine through better posture and is intended for healthy children. If you experience difficulty performing any of these exercises, please stop and consult a chiropractor or other healthcare professional.

If you are leading the Straighten Up program with children and youth, here are a few tips to remember:

  • Everyone can Straighten Up! by standing tall with their feet together and arms relaxed at their sides.
  • Create a calm space by putting away distractions like electronics and toys.
  • Focus on deep, calm, and slow breathing.
  • Instruct slow and smooth movement. Movements should not be jerky.
