Canadian Chiropractic Guidelines

The Canadian Chiropractic Guideline’s vision is to enhance the health of Canadians by fostering excellence in chiropractic care.

Launched in 2013, the Canadian Chiropractic Guideline Initiative (CCGI) became an international leader in the development and dissemination of clinical practice guidelines, as well as the creation of evidence-informed tools that support both clinicians and patients. Resources include patient exercise videos and handouts based on current recommendations, along with interactive online educational modules designed for clinicians. Above all, this work is focused on improving patient care by supporting evidence-informed decision-making in clinical practice.

In 2026, CCGI will be referred to as Canadian Chiropractic Guidelines (CCG), the ongoing home for established clinical practice guidelines and practical tools for clinicians and patients. With the support of Dr. Carol Cancilliere, Senior Scientist in Knowledge Translation & Health Policy, CCA, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, and the Institute of Disability and Rehabilitation Research (IDRR) at Ontario Tech University, CCG will continue to expand access to guidelines and best-practice resources.
