The Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (JCCA) ISSN 0008-3194 (Print) and ISSN 1715-6181 (Online) is the official, peer reviewed, research publication of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) which is published three times per year. Published since 1957 and searchable from 1986 on this site and from 1978 in PubMed, the JCCA publishes research papers, commentaries and editorials relevant to the practice of chiropractic.
The purpose of the JCCA is three-fold:
- To publish scientific articles and papers related to the principles and clinical applications of chiropractic. Professional papers, case history reports, commentaries and basic science papers which relate to chiropractic are considered for publication.
- To cultivate professional dialogue and awareness through the dissemination of information which is relevant to public policy, the health-care delivery system, and the practice of chiropractic in Canada and internationally.
- To enhance the continuing education of the practicing chiropractor. Reports of new techniques or clinical methodologies are considered for publication.
Views and opinions expressed in editorials and articles are not necessarily official expressions of CCA policy unless so stated. Publication of contributed articles does not necessarily imply endorsement in any way of the research findings or opinions expressed therein, and the Journal and its publisher does not accept any responsibility for them.
JCCA is indexed by Pubmed Central, AMED, CINAHL, MANTIS, Scopus, Index to Chiropractic Literature, PASCAL, and selectively in SPORTDiscus.
