The Canadian Chiropractic Association is pleased to announce it has joined the Chiropractic & Manual Therapies Societies and Partners category. Chiropractic & Manual Therapies (CMT) is an internationally recognized journal dedicated to advancing research and knowledge in chiropractic, manual therapies, and related fields. CMT is an open access journal, with a CiteScore currently ranked first in the Chiropractic category and an Impact Factor of 2.4. For the 2025 year, Canada ranked second in manuscripts accepted for publication.
The CCA joins a group of supporting organizations, including Chiropractic Australia, European Chiropractors’ Union, and the Royal College of Chiropractors, in supporting the journal’s ongoing work to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research for a global audience.
The CCA also remains committed to continuing the publication of the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, the official, peer reviewed, research publication of the CCA, and supporting its ongoing role in advancing research, clinical practice, and knowledge sharing in chiropractic and musculoskeletal care. This new collaboration with CMT reflects the CCA’s commitment to research excellence, knowledge translation, and international engagement, while continuing to value and strengthen its important relationships with research partners and institutions.
