Q: Firstly, what is it like working with the Blue Jays, especially during such an exciting championship run?
Dr. Faubert: It has been an incredible experience and something I am extremely grateful for. I have been with the team for two years, and to see this kind of run after finishing last in the division just a year ago has been amazing. You can feel the energy every single day from the players and coaches to the entire staff.
As a chiropractor, I focus on helping players stay healthy, recover efficiently, and move at their best when it matters most. During a stretch like this, every detail counts, from morning preparation to post-game recovery. Seeing all the hard work come together and knowing you played even a small role in that success is an incredible feeling.

Q: How does chiropractic care fit into the team’s preparation and recovery during the World Series?
Dr. Faubert: Chiropractic care plays an important role in both preparation and recovery. During the World Series, the intensity, travel, and workload all increase, and our focus is on keeping every athlete’s body functioning at its peak.
We work as part of a multidisciplinary medical team that includes athletic therapists, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and sports medicine doctors. My role is to ensure athletes’ joints are moving freely and functioning properly, with a particular focus on the pelvis, low back, thoracic spine, first rib, and cervical spine.
Efficient movement through the pelvis and spine is critical in baseball. By optimizing joint motion and neuromuscular control through chiropractic care, we help players maintain smooth movement patterns and recover more effectively between games.

Q: How does your experience as a former athlete shape how you work with pros at this level?
Dr. Faubert: Having been an athlete myself, I understand firsthand the demands of competing at a high level: the long seasons, constant travel, and the challenge of playing through discomfort. That background allows me to relate to what players are feeling both physically and mentally.
Baseball requires incredible precision and repetition. My experience as a player helps me see movement patterns through that lens and understand what efficient mechanics should look like. I also collaborate closely with the strength and conditioning and medical staff to make sure our care directly supports performance on the field. That shared understanding of the game builds trust and makes our work more effective.
Q: Do you have a favourite moment from this season so far?
Dr. Faubert: Without question, clinching our spot in the World Series. Being on the field and in the clubhouse celebrating was incredible, a dream come true. Representing the only Canadian club and making the World Series for the first time in 32 years was surreal. Seeing the players’ emotion and what it meant to everyone is something I will never forget.

Q: What is your go-to pre-game ritual?
Dr. Faubert: My pre-game ritual is all about preparation and routine. I start by reviewing the day’s schedule and organizing treatments for the players who need care before the game. Most of my work happens before the first pitch, so I like to set up early and make sure everything is ready.
Before things get busy, I take a few quiet minutes to reset, grab a coffee, and get into the right headspace. Once the players start coming in, things move quickly, so that bit of calm before the storm helps me stay focused.
Q: What has been the best part of being part of this historic team?
Dr. Faubert: The people. This group is special. Everyone in that clubhouse is close, and it feels like a family. The players truly care about one another and about competing for this country.
It has also been amazing to work alongside such an outstanding medical and training staff. The collaboration and professionalism within this group are second to none. Seeing the country rally behind this team and feeling that energy has been incredible. It reminds me why I chose this profession: to help athletes perform, to be part of something bigger than myself, and to contribute to moments people will remember forever.
